Palghar: CM Devendra Fadnavis said nearly 500 Palghar residents were being shifted to safer locations even as Kelwa and Pelhar dams in the district reached their full storage capacities on Monday.

In a significant development for the region, the Mhaisal dam began overflowing early Monday morning at approximately 5 AM, marking a notable event as water cascaded through its side-channel spillway.
